...not just survived.but i had FUN.the expedition totally surpassed any expectation of mine.apart from the routine of doing the whole 40 km distance, there was a whole lot of drama and comedy involved.my group and i continued to live up to our reputation of being slackers and rebels.trouble always seemed to be knocking on our door throughout the 3 days.no further elaborations here..lets just say it added colour and spice to our final DOE excursion ;)
now i am in the midst of my trials exams.i have a week break in between papers and of course, being the opportunist that i am, i'm out of college.well technically i'm supposed to be studying. but that has been close to impossible with my sister around. we have been really busy painting the town red.and oh oh...we attended the launching of Comedy Lounge at Bar Savanh Too in Mont Kiara. Harith Iskandar was the main stand-up comedian that night.and he was hillarious!!...and oh oh...we managed to get onto the guest list with really cool sofa seatings right up front. It was a pretty star studded event with Hans Isaac, Shamser Sidhu and a bunch of other local celebs attending. It's about time Malaysia starts to change its clubbing scene a little. Having a comedy lounge is very refreshing to the normal r&b,house,electro and all the other usual night scenes here. And i must say, the launching was a huge success.
my supposedly study break has been pretty good so far (not the studying part of course) well at least i tried to get some work done in starbucks yesterday. a futile attempt. but still an attempt. a natural procrastinator, i guess i will just have to head back to college early to get everything done.It's time to get down to work.For real.no more bumming.no more lazing :(
